This week’s Rainbow Snippet is taken from my taboo story

Let Your Heart Decide

There’s a short verse at the beginning of each chapter which tells part of Samuel and Thomas’s story.

The entire poem is collated at the end of the book

and it is also published in the LOVE IS LOVE Poetry Anthology in aid of Orlando’s Pulse Victims Fund.

Let Your Heart Decide

~Samuel and Thomas~

His fingers brush over my arousal,

causing me to lift towards his hand,

desperate for his touch.

He collects the gathering moisture with his thumb

and brings it to his lips to taste the very essence of me.

Take my hand and lead the way.

Whisper words of love; let them fall softly on my ear.

Confess your every desire,

And with each secret freed,

tell me all you wish to say.

  1. Oh My! This is exactly who I was thinking about when opening your link! Lily, I adore this poem, as well as the story of Samuel and Thomas! I would so much love to read their story as a novel… But I suppose it would be damn hard to handle. *rushes off to read the whole poem again*.

  2. Once again, beautiful!

  3. Sweet and loving, especially the second stanza.

  4. I found it very peaceful. Thank you.
